Welcome, welcome! This is the first (and as far as I know ONLY) fan-place for people who enjoy the writings of Jaclyn Moriarty, author of the two wonderful books "Feeling Sorry for Celia" and "Finding Cassie Crazy"/"The Year of Secret Assignments*".

Jaclyn Moriarty is, for those who don't know, an Australian author who sets her stories in her home country. They (so far) revolve around a town that contains two rival schools, Ashbury, a private school, and Brookfield, a public school. The stories involve a pen-pal project set up by a teacher named Mr. Botherit, who wants to forge ties betweent the schools. The stories are witty, thoughtful, pertinent, and very real! Each story is set up in a sequence of letters, emails, notes, post-its, and diary entries. The books are intelligent and interesting, and I would reccomend them to anyone, even though the books are very "teen girl" oriented.

Thank you for visiting, and if you're a fan, and want to join, please read on to the rules.

1. No flaming, fighting, battling, or yelling! This is uneccessary and irritating. Don't use your words to fight. Put them to better use! If you have a disagreement, work it out.

2. I don't want to know details about Derek and Christina, all right? No porn. We don't need to know about that.

3. Feel free to post fanfic or fanart or anything fan-related. It's great to see! News and stories about Ms. Moriarty are much appreciated!

4. HAVE FUN! These are great books, and it's great that you enjoy them! Please try not to create a problem purposefully. Get along with everyone and you'll have a good time. Thanks for reading these rules. Now, if you want, join! Just click on that sentence up there at the top saying you can join!

Well, that's just about everything. As more people join, I'm thinking about creating a pen-pal ring, just like in the books. But of course, with more distance between us.
