Hello everyone.

My name is Caroline and I have been a huge fan of Jaclyn Moriarty's books for a very long time. Just yesterday, I was able to meet her.
She's really interesting and she also has a french ascent just because she has been living in a place where a lot of people talk French. ^_^

Anyway, here's a few things. Everyone knows Elizabeth's dog, Lochie in Feeling Sorry For Celia right? Well, Jaclyn told me and some other students about this story about her own dog called Lochie. Anyway, somewhere in the story she tells us that her mother left a note on the fridge to inform her that her dog had been ran over by a car. Now doesn't that sound somewhat familar? ^_^
But what happened to her dog was rather different. He was okay and he didn't die like Lochie in Feeling Sorry For Celia did and they found out that he hadn't been ran over by a car but some town dogs attacked him. =(

She also announced that she is currently writing a new book so perhaps that's another Ashbury High School related book?

Also, a girl acted out some parts out of Jaclyn's book, The Betrayal Of Bindy McKenzie and I must say that the girl that acted as Bindy did a fantastic job.

So yeah, I just thought to tell you all this since you are all big fans of her.

Here's a link to the cover of Becoming Bindy Mackenzie for everyone who hasn't seen it!

I thought Bindy was funny in TYOSA (I'm sorry but Finding Cassie Crazy is so much easier to say. o_o;) when she transcribed the schoolboard hearing with creative flourishes. I hope she's as likeable and realistic as Moriarty's girls usually are.

Um, hi. I'm Mena and I just joined this community (which looks really good by the way.) I've read Feeling Sorry for Celia and Finding Cassie Crazy and I thought they were both great. I read on Amazon that there's going to be another book in the sort of series, in May 2006, but I'm not sure if that's true. I hope it is. Anyway, hi everyone.

Hi, I'm Ivana and I <3 Jaclyn Moriarty's books. I read Feeling Sorry For Celia aaaages ago and I just recently re-read it and it's so strange how I get it so much more aged 15 than I did aged 12-or-so. And Finding Cassie Crazy was beyond awesome. I need to re-read it!
Anyway, that's all. Just wanted to say hi. :)

Hey everyone...

I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about Finding Cassie Crazy. Is it a sequel to The Year of Secret Assignments or is it just an alternate version of it?

Hi there. *waves* I just finished Feeling Sorry For Celia and absolutely loved it. Very funny, very perceptive. My favourite organisation was The Cold Hard Truth Society. *grin*

I have Finding Cassie Crazy but haven't started it yet. The author blurb says her next book is going to be one for adults; has anyone heard anything about that?

This community is a great idea! I loved Feeling Sorry for Celia. I ordered The Year of Secret Assignments and am anxiously awaiting it's arrival.

Anyway, I'm glad this community is here. Feel free to add me to your friends list, and I'll do the same!
